Re: CAMEROONIZATION OF REGIONAL NAMES

I get really sad and angry when Southern Cameroonians are facing a real problem, a problem of how to leave la Republique du Cameroun, some Southern Cameroonians are talking of things that mean nothing to us. Will the change of  Regional Names change the way people of la Republique du Cameroun view us. How will the change of regional names improve our plight?

Did I hear 'Cameroonization'? Before we rename the regions, why don't we first rename the country so as to 'cameroonize' it?

Good thinking about renaming the provinces or regions. The people of the regions could then come up with names. It shows you have your country at heart and this kind of thinking could bring other changes that we cross our eyes over.

Folks,

I feel that we should "Cameroonize" our regional names to reflect our real Cameroonian identity. Most regional names now bear cardinal points which are too generalized. When one talks of Pennsylvania, Maryland Dakota, California, Texas etc one immediately know that these are American States. Or Amambra, Bornu, Bendel one immediately know that these are Nigerian States. But when you talk of west, east, south, north etc., no one can immediately identify them with Cameroon. Below is my suggestion to the problem:-
