I  think  we  as  a  citizen  and  our  local  administration  is   also  responsible  for  this  problem  because  we  never  think  and  workout  for  these  natural  calamities.

Chennai—home to offices of large IT companies like Tata Consultancy Servies, Cognizant and Infosys—is among the worst hit areas. The city is witnessing its worst rains in 100 years. In recent weeks, cars have sunk, roads caved, and flights delayed.

Open sewage within the city, innumerable musquitoes and lack of proper drainage pumping mechanism is a clear testimony that something is wrong!!!
