Re: [MTC Global] [Weekend Big Debate] What to do when your bossasksyou to do something illegal ?

It is very much clear. Nothing is to feel bad. The Boss is the character who dictates terms with the team members. The old saying bis " BOSS IS ALWAYS RIGHT": But we do not know whether the Boss is a Right Person or not. Time will tell the answer. When Boss asksz us to do function whether our conscience is permitting  us or not, it is to be complied with. Otherwise, it is considered as INSUBORDINATION or DERELICTION OF DUTY, which could be viewed seriously. Denial of the words/opinions/decisions  of the Boss is not acceptable. We cannot expect each and every boss in an organisation whether Corporate or Educational institution, his/her words are  enriching the quality of the organisation. Let us not displease our Boss. If his/her decisions are wrong/right, time would tell the answer.  ,

And when the conscience is wired Right, you will be empowered from within to do only that which is Right!!!

Always do what your conscience tells you to do.

Bosses come and go but you will have to live with yourself and the consequences of your actions

When your boss asks you to do something illegal or unethical, you face one of the most challenging dilemmas in your career. "There are potential negative consequences for speaking up, as well as for complying,". "It can feel like a lose-lose."

How to handle such situations?
