Thanks Professor Xavier for wonderful suggestions. Same or similar proposals have been put up from time to time but no sizable yield. The reasons are obvious, we failed to walk the talk.I know one very prestigious institute in TN that is attached to an industrial unit. Excellent. But I was surprised to know the teaching faculty was not involved in workshop practices as if it was not their business but WS was the only authority to perform the task, students batches were churned out one after batches another as per schedule, a sort of compartmentalization between the unit and insitute. Therefore, your points are timely and of high value.
Please see the attchments.

1. Like we have hospitals attached to medical Colleges, we should have the B-Schools attached to some industry clusters.

Dear Faternity--Students from the nascent stage should feel the student life as "PROFESSIONAL LIFE" and start feeling responsible for the outcomes rather than the other way round. Quality matters and practical examples and real time experiences....would help in achieving world class B-School.RegardsDr. Pallavi, Asst.Prof.School of Mgmnt Studies,DayanadaSagar UniversityBengaluru-78.On Thu, Dec 24, 2015 at 12:26 PM, Prof. Bholanath Dutta <bnath.dutta@gmail.com> wrote:This message is eligible for Automatic Cleanup!
