However, just curious, Mishe. Usumanu, if you were to suggest an appropriate name for the legacy called PWD, what would that be?
Given the trying times where forces beyond our control are Satan-bent on wasting everything we believe in and everything that represent us as a people.
By the way, halt your claims: Tambe, Nkemeto, Mokube, Moliki, etc were Ghana Streeters....they lived just opposite my father's house along Ghana Street.

Venatius Fon Atang was a gentleman footballer. If you saw him B4 a match, you would never imagine that he could push "Ndamba". First of all, because of his "Religious Big Mankon Catechist family upbringing" he never accepted to go to "Ndop to cook matches" at that Babungo Pah's Merecine house. The guy is clean in and out.

Now, add to that list, our very own ZoZo (George Ambahe), Affaire pronounced "AFEH" (Charles Ndikum) Shwa shwa (Maranga), Komot make I enter (Ngoh Franklin), Miss Ball No Miss Foot (Baba Yara), Buy One Take Two No Sell Match (Epesse Mopax), Eight Eighty Run Pass Ball (Mokube) Elephant Head (Batek) Ball 4 Net (Ayim), Mathematical Man (Dr. Ekwe), Put me 4 Run (Ayukegba), Tanap 4 One Place (Louis and Nkemento), Mamfe "Overside" Boy (Ashu Cyprien), Mendankwe Charcoal Man (Ndumu)...and many others I cannot remember off my head right now...or na alzheimers don dey catch me. Yes I think there were two other players called Peter Esoka and Zachary Nkwo. 

History should not forget Ngia Patricia (the greatest PWD female supporter of all times) of Mushroom Bar in Ngomgham near Sacred Heart. No one knew her last Mankon name and no one actually cared. This mammie was a "mentor" (both literally and even otherwise...most players will agree with me that Ngia "Patrussia" was a specialist at "servicing" Abakwa Boys. Most fights that erupted @ the Mankon stadium were usually caused by Ngia Patrussia's unflinching support for her darling team. She sometimes (which was often) disagreed with a referee's decision to the point of walking into the stadium to stop an ongoing First Division Match until her grievances were understood. I hear she unfortunately passed on in 2012. A monument should be erected around City Chemist for that "Mammie PWD".

PWD Old Town: Baba Yara, Goalkeepers Mbayu, Shawa and Joe Agwa, Nji Sunday, Benjamin Forcha Bola, Captain Cock, Simo, Danjuma, Emmanuel Azangue, Martin Ako, Dieudone Ambahe, Pa Mainsah all grew up in Old Town. Time to rename our PWD.
