Job Title    :Java Developer 

Location   : SSA Baltimore ,Maryland

Duration  : 6+ Months Contract 

Lockheed Martin is looking for a Senior Java Software Developer to join our team in Baltimore, MD to support the development of SSA applications. The Senior Developer will:

*Analyze client requirements and develop solutions  to meet the requirements. Duties include - design, development and unit testing of various projects. 

*Interact regularly with the SSA management, architects and project leads to discuss technical issues, project milestones and deliverables. 

*Participate in code reviews and design discussions and ensure that the code and other deliverables meet industry standards. 

*Analyze performance issues and recommend/develop fixes to improve performance of various applications. 

*Support production deployments and provide technical expertise to solve production issues. 

*Provide end-to-end support and assistance to the customer to improve software quality, the software build process, and software version control. 

Skills Requirements:

?Basic Skills

Java, Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE), EJB, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Struts 2.0, SQL, DB2, JavaScript, WebSphere Application Server 7 or WebSphere Application Server 8.5, Rational Application Developer 8 or Rational Application Developer 8.5

Desired skills

XML, HTML, CSS

Versioning tools like CVS or MKS or SVN, Hibernate, Spring

Experience with Agile development methodologies

Experience with Big Data - technologies and tools such as Hadoop, Splunk

Education:

Bachelors with a minimum of 11 years of development experience.
