Re: [cameroon_politics] Limbe Omnisports Stadium, Na Which Cana Name Dis na ?

People of la Republique du Cameroun extraction have always believed that we are subhumans and that they can always take decisions on our territory without consulting us. Why didn't they name the Stadium after the first Prime Minister of the Southern Cameroons, Dr. E.M.L Endely?  Why did they not ask the Bakweris to propose a name for the stadium?
We must stand up and defend ourselves, for no one else shall come and do our job for us.
We must decide our fate now, not tomorrow, for tomorrow is already too late.

Guys:

I rest my case. Please go fight with the builders and the sponsors who named that arena. Why your people didn't refuse to attend the opening ceremony?

It is sad when in a family, a community or a country animosity, adversity and hatred come from insiders.

Thank GOD the Limbe Omnisports Stadium is beautifully and silently standing tall and still, ready to welcome its very first international encounter.

Talk is cheap.

GO CAMEROON!!!!

Ngia Mishe Fon,

SONARA is already headquartered in Douala, not Limbe - sorry, Victoria.

Instead of asking these good for nothing people to name it for our people, how about everybody started calling it "Ebassa Moto Stadium"? Full stop. No questions asked.

YES, this compatriot is angry and rightly so because he has heard of and even played Ndamba as a Professional "Tombell Player" on such prestigious arenas like: Surulere Stadium Lagos, Stade de Poupoumre a Garoua, Stade Leopold Senghor a Dakar, Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Joburg, March 28 stadium in Benghazi, Arab Contractors in Cairo, Seyni Kountche in Niamey, Stade d'Angondje in Libreville, Hearts of Oak in Accra or even the 60 thousand capacity stadium of Baba Yara in Kumassi Ghana.
The point this brother is trying to make is: What is wrong in naming the stadium in Limbe after a prominent public figure like "Tata Ngia Mishe Fon" Stadium of Victoria? after all the good work I have been doing for my people.
OMNISPORT is a FRENCH word which simply means a multi-purpose gymnasium or sports complete unfortunately which the South West stadium in Limbe is not.The guy is 120% right in bringing this issue up for debates and whoever brought up this terrible "Francophone name" should be tried for crimes against humanity. This is pure "Bassa" witch craft in broad day light. How do you go to the heart of Southern Cameroons, after you have finished "Nyioxeying them very badly" of their rich agricultural potential via their CDC, Ndu Tea, Palmol, Ndop Rice, Wada etc, Politically confused the poor people...and take a whole Stadium and give it a "Francophone" name? Are you guys not tired of screwing us? If you finish knacking one mop, you have to rest to recover ya breeze. This is the kind of nonsense our subjugated elites who go to Yaounde only to benefit their own Belle, have brought on the poor Anglophones of Southern Cameroons. Very soon, I will not be surprised that CDC will become Societe Camerounaise d'Hevea, Bananes et Cafe with headquarters in Douala, Kribi or Yaounde.

Cameroonians have never been ANGRY and BITTER. Very honestly the Limbe omnisports stadium is a piece of jewelry that deserves but respect and admiration.

I don't know the idea behind the name but I  prefer the recognition of a whole community or to one core event in our national history (Reunification) to this praise to one human being (Ahmadiu Ahidjo).

If I understand quite well Brother Joseph Kijem isn't happy and I am asking WHY?
