This article is not much way off from what we have been discussing & deliberating in our forum , from various do\imensions, for the past 3 years.
In fact, we brainstormed several facets of Management education & the declining acceptance levels of an MBA/ PGDM by the industry - on a much more firmer footing.
The author has only highlighted the grave problem on an alarming scale,,,,,which is not new as such.
We all know that we teach Management to a group of kids who do not know what an organization is or how a workplace looks like.
The smarter amongst the kids, put in more efforts, understand & learn by self reading & pushing themselves, -- while others only wait for Campus placements - which are not happening.
It all boils down to the relevance & future of an MBA & how we can make it better & better.
The question that is staring in our face - is how to make these unemplyable into employable - given the existing scenario - which cannot be tampered. How can faculty become more effective & take control of the classrooms?
Senior MTC members know whats to be done.
