Job Title: Quality Assurance Tester
Location: Herndon, VA
Duration:8+ Months
Must Have US Citizen or GC Holder or H1B
Must Have experience in SDLC and QTP and XML and Relational Database
Note: Resource must be available to work onsite at client facility in Herndon, VA. Supplier will provide the following services (collectively, the "Services"):
Required Skills:
Familiarity with different types of testing (system integration, regression, functional, unit, performance, etc.) and an ability to plan/execute accordingly
Ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements
Strong written and verbal communication (ability to translate between business and technical concepts)
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle experience (Waterfall or Agile)
Experience developing automated tests with QTP
Experience working with a Relational Database using SQL
Experience working with Java development/principles
Experience working with XML
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
Preferred Skills:
Experience developing automated tests with Selenium
Proven ability to develop and maintain system documentation
Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
Once candidate's resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
All candidates must be a US Citizen, have permanent residence status (Green Card), or an H1-B Visa.
All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e. collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women.
