Future Challenges for HR
1. Considering huge investment in India in 3 sectors, IT, ITES, Manufacturing we need strong players in HR filed to contribute. Even to support in diversification of business, M&A, expansion or Start-up project we need balance HR / ER people.
2. Time to Invest in talent. as it's a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complicated, ambiguous) world. unprecedented problems can be countered only by innovative solutions, great resilience and strong teamwork.
3. Upgrading HR fraternity business knowledge to extent they should speak business language & enhance their role from transactional HR / ER to become strong influencing contributor in business to reach to level of Board Member.
4. For stability & growth stand point, making employees aware about margins, affordability of employer pertaining to wage agreement for long term sustenance of business.
5. Challenge for HR is to revisit to organizations expectations from people, which can be done by role / job clarity with mechanism to track SMART goals.
6. Attracting & Retaining talented employee pool ( HIPO), IDP & its execution.
