Position: Oracle DBA with Banking/ Financial Experience (At least 8 yrs. Of experience Required)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 12+ Months Contract/ Permanent Role

Rate: $ 55/hr. on C2C

JOB  DESCRIPTION

 

·         Strong experience in supporting Oracle DBMS products including Oracle Database, Oracle Grid Control , Data guard, ASM, NOSQL databases.

·         Monitoring and resolving DB backup issues, Troubleshooting ORA errors, Monitoring via OEM, enable disable blackout, Resolving dataguard issues like Flash recovery full etc, performing switchover, ASM – disk   addition and drop, other related CRS issues,   block corruption issues.

·         Strong knowledge of Oracle database RAC. Relocating services, using strictly to stop start instance or database, create and drop services, node eviction issues.

·         Strong OS knowledge like LINUX,UNIX,SAN storage. Shell scripting, basic Linux and Unix commands.

·         Extensive experience supporting complex and integrated application environments, primarily based on web logic servers and Oracle relational databases

·         Proven track record of performance tuning including SQL tuning.

·         Read and analyse AWR reports, database stats, tkprof, ADDM reports, sql tuning advisor
