Job Title : Devops QA Engineer
Duration : 3 month contract with extensions up to 2 years
Location : Brentwood, TN or Denver, CO
H1B with good communication.
Duties: Must have the ability to assess a network for flaws and vulnerabilities at the network and operating system layer.
Skills:
Essential Skills
* Extensive experience working as a non-functional tester in a fast-moving IT infrastructure environment;
* Excellent technical knowledge of HP Quality Center and a selection of Unix/Linux, Windows, NAS/SAN (EMC, NetApp and IBM XIV), workplace technology, VMWare, Veritas SF & VCS, network fundamentals, infrastructure architecture and database fundamentals;
* Basic understanding of how hardware and software interact with monitoring solutions
* Strong focus on relationship-building and teamwork;
* Thorough problem-determination skills to assist technicians to troubleshoot and resolve system and infrastructure problems;
* Ability to multi-task in a very dynamic environment;
* Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills, including explaining technical concepts simply;
* Self-motivator with energy and drive for continuous improvement and a focus on delivering results;
* Flexible approach to working Desirable Skills
* Workplace User Experience Testing
* Understanding of Network device failover (Routers, Multilayer switches, VPN concentrators, Firewalls)
* Understanding of Oracle, SQL Server
