Title: Tableau Developer

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Duration: 6+ month contract

Rate Open.

Interview process would be a Skype then hire.

Responsibilities

· Work with an existing team of dashboard developers to create new and enhance existing tableau dashboards for the Sales Support team

· Interact with UX designers on report format/layouts, and BI analysts on data sourcing

· Work with BI developers and analysts on agile practices used to deliver dashboards on a bi-weekly sprint schedule.

Requirements:

· At least a B.A., preferably MSc. in either Computer Sciences, Statistics, Economics or Business Administration

· A minimum 3 years of working experience with Tableau

· 5+ years of experience overall within design and development of BI reporting and analytics

· Familiarity with Tableau's JavaScript API

· Tableau certification is a plus

· Ability to provide attractive presentation layers

· Experience using Tableau Desktop and Server

· Excellent SQL skills

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a corporate environment

· Strong knowledge of best practices around Dashboards and Report Visualization

· Strong knowledge of best practices around Self-Service BI
