Position : Senior Program Manager – IT Infrastructure & Security
Location : Oakbrook IL
Duration : 12 Months
Responsibilities :
Leads program management and project management for simultaneous IT Infrastructure & Security initiatives
Drives results through adherence to PMO governed process.
Serves as intermediary between Infrastructure/Operations teams, infrastructure providers, IT Domain Application Teams and Business Units.
Directs projects from initiation through implementation, delivery and close out.
Leads projects to completion, delivering on time, within scope, and budget.
Solves project issues and risks (technical and non-technical) through identification, evaluation, tracking, communication and mediation.
Coordinates with IT teams and business units
Schedule and run recurring internal and external customer facing meetings as needed during project implementation to review and monitor project goals and status
Develop complex project plans and dashboard metrics which account for milestones, dependencies, resourcing, etc.
Provide additional administrative support as necessary including preparing ad-hoc reports and presentations
Interact as needed with service providers and vendors, 3rd parties, etc.
Create and manage all project documentation, create key project deliverables (project initiation, scope management, issues lists, sub-team status reports, communications and communication plans, project plans, resource planning, RACI, budget, documentation, specifications)
Assist with project close, create and/or ensure operational support documentation and transition to operations is successful.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated Strong Leadership, Project Management Skills, Time Management and Problem Solving Skills in matrix environments.
Strong working experience and knowledge of Project Management Methodologies
Previous experience managing Infrastructure and Security Projects
Ability to support and work in a diverse team environment with stakeholders, SMEs, vendor partners and external expert consultants
Clear verbal and written communication, including written and verbal status reports to all levels of the organization, as well as other various communications necessary to keep stakeholders informed
Subject matter expertise in at least one business and/or technical areas.
Working knowledge of MS Project in creating schedules, interdependencies, predecessors and successors between tasks.
Demonstrated ability to apply ITIL process to System implementation and support approaches.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP Certification or approved equivalent.
ITIL V3 Foundation Certification
Tangible experience managing Infrastructure and Operations technology projects such as server (HW and OS)/storage/Database platform upgrades, Data Center moves, Cyber Security, DLP Solution implementations, Network security
