Role: Technical Architect: Server Side (With Sharepoint)

Title: Technical Architect (Server)

Job Description:
·        Server Infrastructure – Server infrastructure consulting professional is expected to assess technologies like Business Apps Servers, DNS, DHCP, AD, Windows, Linux Servers and Monitoring tools etc.
·        The Tech Arch will take a holistic approach to detail assessment of in-scope infrastructure, related processes, standard operating procedures and perform gap analysis.
·        Lead consulting assessment workshops with the customer's delivery spoc.
·        Analysis and gathering of technical details regarding customer environments and system requirements.
·        Understand and analyze gaps and communicate to all solution stakeholders (internal and external).
·        Deliver on-site consulting services such as analysis of single point of failure, HA/DR analysis, performance analysis, checking whether monitoring tools are configured to throw right alerts, testing/troubleshooting and make recommendations for the optimization of servers.
·        Act as a Technical Leader owning overall responsibility for network assessment.
·        Review the extensive data that has been captured by client and evaluate whether any additional information is required of the servers or application dependencies necessary for completing the assessment.
·        Review the servers and provide an evaluation based on the current use of the server, applications installed and identify whether additional diligence is required.
·        Categorize each of the servers into a migration planning spreadsheet and assign a priority based on business criticality, security risk rating, and level of effort to migrate, decommission, or follow up.

Experience:
·        Experience in Server Architecture and Planning of DHCP, DNS, HA, DR, SharePoint, Monitoring etc.
·        Background on Technology Consulting or Presales experience is a plus.
·        Experience of working in an Enterprise IT Environment
·        Experience of working within a structured Project Delivery Framework / Method
·        Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical topics to both "C-Level" clients as well as non-technical audiences
·        Strong service attitude and a commitment to quality
·        Ability to work with team members from around the globe / experience working with off-shore models
·        Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable.
