CAMEROON SUPER DELEGATES (THE REAL, BEHIND THE SCENES POWER BROKERS)

Americans are really "Moumous" when it comes to real clear (or unclear) politics. The notion of "Super Delegates that they are suddenly discovering in both Parties" has been in our Cameroon Politics since Ahidjo and his CNU Party. When Paul Biya chopped Ahidjo's chair and renamed the Party CPDM, he closely followed the footsteps of his "Grang Camarade" by appointing his own Super Delegates also known as "Membres Influents". Today, those who act in that capacity are the unelected Senators". The caveat here is that, these respectable gentlemen and ladies are "Appointed to be Politicians". They are not beholden to "We the poor People" because they have never "hia ngeh" to campaign and merit their people's vote. They could care less about the aspirations of Cameroonians as they have no legitimate constituencies. As you are looking through the names, you would discover that some of the "Njimtetes" have long left this world, but they still remain Super Delegates as their so-called "Alternates" are finding it very difficult to take over in filling the vacancy.
