Job Title: Linux System Administrator with strong Scripting skills

Location: Peachtree City, GA(Atlanta)

Duration : 6 months+

Linux system administration and configuration experience, including some CGI scripting using PHP

 Competencies  Linux OS & Ecosystem

Experience (Years)  6-8

Essential Skills

Install, administer, and maintain Linux for embedded infrastructure

• Troubleshoot Linux platforms, networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct operational problem

• Server and infrastructure security and hardening experience

• Demonstrable shell (BASH) scripting

• In-depth command-line knowledge of Linux network services and their configuration (SSH, uDNS, DNS, NFS, etc.)

• Apache, lighttpd configuration experience.

• Create appropriate documentation of procedures and workflows used internally and externally with clients

• Basic Network administration (firewalls, VPN, VLAN)

• Database knowledge (MySQL, SQLite)

• Scripting languages (Python, PHP, SQL)

• Email Administration experience is a plus (postfix mailserver)

• Experience with embedded servers such as beaglebone, Raspberry Pi, ODroid
