ROLE:  BUSINESS ANALYST

LOCATION: AUSTIN, TX

TYPE OF ROLE: Contract

LENGTH: 1+Years

VISA: USC or GC Only. -  Has to have good communication skills and would prefer local 

This person will be responsible for analyzing business processes, procedures, and organization structure in order to identify problems and determine solutions for application development. 

Responsibilities:

• Identify the current state of processes, elicit their useful and harmful attributes, document process models, and facilitate stakeholder groups to consensus regarding new business process designs
• Conduct interviews with various business organizational units, IT staff, and senior management to gain insight on the current state of processes
• Model "as-is" and "to-be" business processes using workflow, process engines, and document gap analysis
• Apply strong knowledge, understanding, and application of project management principles and methodologies
• Accept and perform other tasks as directed by director or management

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 year experience in Business Analysis-Agile Methodologies
• Strong understanding of at least one programming language
• Strong experience in creating comprehensive business and software requirement specification documents

Desired:

• ITIL Certified
• CMM or CMMI ML3
• Strong knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging applications
• Knowledge of application configuration, maintenance, and support
