Re: [AFOaKOM] Intangible Resources that Create Wealth

This subject is of great interest to me than all the political ramblings that we see here most of the time. I promise to give an indepth input later today.
The situation is not totally hopeless. That is all I can say for now, and my later contribution shall build upon this theme of HOPE.

Kudos to  you noble Sirs Steve and Abang for bringing this up.

Hi Bro,

 Thanks for ur many insights.

May I ephasize ur point that it is easier to become solution providers and inventors under an enabling environment than under overbearing dictatorial governance. The Anomah Ngu illustration is so accurate. Problem well defined.

Ours is certainly gravely repressive, anti-people and ruthless- not only will it suffocate the likes of Anoma, it will go ahead and side with colonialists to perpertuate not only backwardness, poverty and insecurities but also diseases

Breaking out of the cone to become truely alive is undeniably the thing to do. The question is no more about whether it should be done or not - it is about how to do it. Notice how feverishly we disagree and fight about very minor things, we as Komrades, we as Northwesterners, we as Anglophones. Remember the infightings with Fru Ndi, right from inside his family, clan, anglophones and fellow opposition parties. How can we win a fight against dictators while concentrating on fighting against our own selves ?

I agree that we should break the shackles of marginalisation by francophones and neocolonisation and suggest we start by communicating, not only talking but also listening to each other, not arguing to win but arguing to backstop and enrich. Persistently being fair to each other, recognising each other's merits, letting them enjoy the fruits of their labour and wear the caps that fit could have triggered the rising of better and better leaders and thus the coming of more and more enabling conditions.

To me, it seems to be the first step towards 'breaking out of the cone' and the good news is that everybody has the right to start being and doing as such as soon as he wills.

Subject: [AFOaKOM] Intangible Resources that Create Wealth

Komrades,
My compatriots those who invented the Internet, Facebook and Whats up are making billions of dollars without lifting a stone. We can do the same. Yes we can do it. If we cannot, then we should create an enabling environment for this to come to fruition and empower our kids to become great solution providers and inventors of things that create wealth and transform our communities. Free education should not deprive us of education but should be meaningful enough to empower wealth creators.

Can we have the freedom to do this while still serving as slaves under an overbearing dictatorial colonial regime? My guess is that it takes a longer time to think and act under stressful circumstances. It takes a shorter time to bring the best to a country that gives you the best environment to function. We had this in former West Cameroon but I doubt how far we can do it in the present circumstances. Prof Anomah Ngu tried hard to bring a solution to a world problem but failed woefully. My prescription is that we need to break out of the cone and become alive and free to think and act accordingly.
Thank you so much.
