Re: @Agbor 2: RE: correction: RE: [camnetwork] RE: Tribute to Hon Prof Agbor Tabi

Greig Batey,

Thanks, no thanks for the "borrowed robes". Ndi Manjong happens not to be a doctor (doctorate holder). I am not sure when the "Ring-Road" stretch through Donga-Mantung will be built. If by two Prime Ministers you mean Phelemon Yang and Achidi Achu, it just so happened that the two have avoided personally making the "Ring-Road" an electoral promise.

If you kept up with your Internet reading you will recall that Achidi Achua in accompanying his Wimbum wife for a football trophy in Nkambe, tried to explain why the "Ring-Road" stretch through Donga-Mantung was not a deserving priority since his time as Prime Minister. Mr. Yang's Bui Division was not even a Sub-Division in Bamenda Division when Nkambe now Donga-Mantung was a division. Today his Oku Sub-Division in Bui Division has easy access to Bamenda through Nso in Bui, Babungo in Ngoketunjia and Belo in Boyo than does the age old Nkambe.

The "Ring-Road" stretch between  Babungo into Bui Division is claimed to be done (the Camerounaise way). Given that the people in Donga-Mantung have accepted to do their stretch by local hand labor, it will be no surprise if the next reluctant effort will be to connect Bamenda to Babungo (in keeping with the colonial dictum that the squawking wheel gets the grease). In short, given this resort to local forced labor doing the Donga-Matung stretch of the "Ring-Road", I am not sure when the  "Ring-Road" will be completely built even after more than two Prime Ministers from the North West. Achidi Achu borrowed the "toll gate idea from Fru Ndi. The man as Senior Senator can not justify the  toll gate between his Santa Sub-Division and Mbouda given the disrepair of the stretch of highway linking the two. Your one finger and four fingers expression is appreciated however contextually misplaced.

There is this wise saying in pidgin. "You are pointing at someone with a finger of the hand, four others are pointing at you".

He promised it to his people many times over. He did not have to promise if he knew he does not build them.

Dear,
You have no moral authority to talk about Agbor Tabi, roads in Manyu, or NW/SW issue. I can authoritatively talk on this issue for various reasons including but not limited to the following:
1) Too many noise makers on camnet who cannot do anything on the ground or change dynamics on the ground.
2) You cannot point to one metre of road you or any other detractor on camnet has done anywhere but I can point to kilometres of roads I am constructing in Manyu.
3) People will be using kilometres of roads I constructed in Manyu to attend Agbor Tabi's funeral and there is nothing he can do about it nor is there a metre of road in Manyu he can point to from the afterlife to counter what I can point.
4) During construction of the roads in Manyu, we came across people who are over 20 years old and have NEVER seen a car.
5) The roads I do in Manyu are not sponsored by the government. Sponsorship by private individuals of good standing and my own benevolent spirit to assist those people is what helped me to achieve what I am doing.
6) Each time any of my Hilux vehicles takes 8 hours to go and supply diesel fuel to the bulldozer and 8 hours to come back, it is damaged and I have to send to the garage for full maintenance.
7) 4 days ago, on returning, too much rain and the axle of the my hilux got destroyed. No mobile phone signal, no vehicle, nothing. The driver had to abandon the vehicle and trek for one day over a distance of some 30 kilometres to get to an area where on top of a hill signals from Mamfe leak there and he could call Bamenda where we sent a mechanic and another axle to change. You cannot understand the anger in me when I see all these things in Manyu.
6) Few SW persons or contractors will send their bulldozers deep in Akwaya to do any road since they can make money easily in more accessible locations but I insisted that my boys do the roads even if we do not make money from it since by the grace of God my fortune is not in one bottom vested and I can make money elsewhere so this NW/SW issue is an internet joke.

Some of us were born in the South West, schooled in SW (Lycee Bilingue de Buea for the formative years in Secondary school), have invested in real estate in the South West, and undertaking projects/activities in the South West that will amaze you so this NW/SW issue you keep returning to is an internet joke that is not supported by realities on the ground (you did last time and everyone fell on you like a tonne of bricks and today you still revisit it).

Take care bro

His statement, "Bamenda people must insist that his corpse will not pass through Bamenda to Mamfe and the convoy MUST use Kumba-Mamfe road so that he can suffer in dead what the average Manyu man suffered in life by passing through Kumba-Mamfe road," is not aim at sympathizing with users of bad roads in the SW. The last time I check NW has many road challenges as well. Betweens the roads in the North West or that which passes through the NW is NOT owned by 'Bamenda People,' but by Cameroonian tax payers.
>

The last picture of bad road posted on these fora was the road leading to NW. Every region in Cameroon face challenges in terms of roads and to use the death of prof Agbortabi to attack the entire Manyu people, as Dr. Tumasang did is unacceptable.
