The government should now focus on quality education, says the Prime Minister.

Every government has worked to improve education in the country in their own way. So far, the government was focused on spreading education across the country. But the time has come to shift focus on quality education. Now, the government should emphasise more on learning rather than schooling.

Need to coordinate work of various leadership organisations like NCC and NSS. They can work on increasing participation of youth organisations in projects like water conservation and cleanliness.

News of good monsoon creates good atmosphere, but everyone should prepare to conserve water.

Shift soil and desilt, create methods to hold water to recharge water table.

Modi talks of alternate crop pattern adopted by a village in face of drought conditions in MP where panchayat has created water pond.

Clean Ganga needs people's participation for making it happen and become agents of change.

Government working with states, civil society and people to check waste from flowing into the Ganga; 3 to 11 tonnes of garbage prevented and removed at several places, including Kanpur Allahabad and Varanasi.

Modi talks of Panchayati Raj Divas and linking 10 days from Ambedkar Jayanti till today, says this campaign has resulted in awareness on conditions of villages.

The Gram Uday to Bharat Uday brought to fore multi-programmes.

Earlier, the accent of politics was to give gas cylinders and competing against economy of subsidies. I adopted and trusted people appealing to them to Give Up. Today 1 crore people having given up and 80 per cent went personally to the distributor to give it up in writing, instead of adopting easy technology by sending message through App. This has given policy and economic planners a new way and new thinking.

I appeal to political class to trust people and give them a programme. That is why we did away with interviews for lower posts. The atmosphere was created by people like those 1 crore who gave up gas subsidy.

Need to publish positive news, says PM. Now some TV channels are doing the same and one newspaper has decided to carry only positive news every Monday on its front page.

Transforming India portal is meant to share positive news.

Kumbh Mela, Shimhasta in Ujjain uploaded pictures conveying diversity and management while reflecting on water conservation and respect for it.
