Position : Healthcare QA Tester

I'm looking for a health care QA with strong experience with 835 and 837 EDI formats and knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10. The interview process will be phone then on-site interview.
As a QA Engineer, you will be working with our core development team in an Agile environment to introduce quality engineering into every step in the software life cycle. You will contribute your expertise towards improving QA processes throughout engineering. You will be directly responsible for assuring quality on a small number of simultaneous development projects delivered against different schedules. You will be responsible for establishing and reporting quality metrics on a regular basis as well as building/maintaining a library of test plans. You should be able to demonstrate creativity in defining and reaching QA goals and have experience working in the code base of visual studio/team foundation server to improve testability. You will be expecting an expert in the collection and correct use of quality metrics in risk management activities and you will be the central figure in determining whether a product is ready for release on multiple occasions.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Interact with project managers and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
- Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases.
- Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts. .
- Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
- Execute and analyze automation test results
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with business/technical teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
- Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Support production deployment of applications and perform validation testing
- Mentor other members of QA department in technical and planning aspects of their positions.
- Managing product quality through issue prioritization, test planning and cross team communication.
Required Experience/Skills:
- 5+ years of relevant QA technical experience.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Expertise in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers and replication.
·Experience and in depth knowledge on claim adjudication process
·Detailed knowledge of 837/835 EDI formats including all segments and loops. Ability to manipulate 837/835 EDI files to generate a wide variety of valid claims
·Knowledge of both ICD-9 and ICD-10.
·Familiarity with automated testing tools (Selenium) is a plus
- Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design and execution.
- Experience with TFS and Visual Studio is a plus.
- Experience with automation development and design experience for the Web Applications.
- Ability to learn and adapt, work independently with high level directions and the ability to assimilate new technologies quickly is a must.
- Self-motivated, results driven, and able to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with healthcare applications
