Job Title: Lead SAP Quality Assurance Analyst (8-10 Years)
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034 (only locals) can make In-Person
Duration: 6- 12 Months (ongoing project)
Employment Type: Corp-Corp, W2, 1099
Job Description:
Provide process and technical QA leadership for SAP Payroll system. Develop and enforce the use of QA policies and procedures. Incorporate best practices and root cause analytics to measure and improve execution and effectiveness. Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. Ensure user requirements are satisfied, releases to production are defect free, and systems/changes will perform as expected.
Education/Experience
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required
· 8-10 years' experience required
Responsibility level
· Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor and will typically supervise one or more lower level analyst
Skills
· Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
· Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
· Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
· Strong knowledge of SAP software, configuration and programming. (Required)
· Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
· Strong knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology (Required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop Payroll IT QA policies and procedures to be used for SAP system testing
· Create, review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
· Review and approve testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
· Review documentation of software defects and assign software developers to investigate and resolve the issue
· Create and/or review and approve test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
· Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks
· Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
