One suggestion, let there be a database so that travel (and time, cost, carbon footprint) gets minimised and so the burden on the college too.
I am on the verge of taking up such an assignment in a God forsaken place where regular faculty shortage is a huge problem, whatever faculties and students are there, they think they have better things to do rather than teaching and studying!!!
I and alumni organization of that institution are trying to rope in temps (guest faculty / alumni etc) and if things go as per plan, may be, use this platform too.

MTC Global has pioneered a model "MTC Global Swami Vivekananda Knowledge Sharing Model" wherein interested MTCians will travel across the country/ world for knowledge sharing amongst management colleges. We encourage MTCians to travel in semi urban and rural areas along with cities. MTCians will represent MTC Global and their movements and programme need to be endorsed by MTC Global. There are few checkpoints to make the tour official and represent MTC Global:
Necessarily the programme details and travel plan to be submitted to the undersigned. Once travel plan and programme details are finalized, it will be posted on the group from this end. No fees to be charged for this kind of programmes from the colleges.
We request Esteemed MTCians to support the programme which is based on our mantra "Happy Knowledge Sharing". The college needs to bear the expenses. The support may be in the following way:
· Point-to-point travel cost reimbursement (minimum fare)
· Provide accommodation facilities along with food.
· Provide local transportation cost.
· College may give momentum/honorarium a/a (not mandatory)
· Corporate welcome to sponsor any such knowledge sharing tour.
The host college needs to bear the expenses as mentioned above.
This model will help in the following ways:
· Free flow of Knowledge.
· Faculty and student community will be immensely benefited.
· Requirement for guest lecture/expert lecture will be full-filled.
· Cross cultural knowledge transfer.
· Will help MTC Global to march towards its vision "Educate, Empower, Elevate"
We request all esteemed MTCians to support this model "MTC Global Swami Vivekananda Knowledge Sharing Model". There is no such model existing and we will be writing history in area of knowledge sharing. Need all your support to make this model and cause a great success.
