Re: [MTC Global] [Short Story] Experience

Only the fruits bearing tree gets stone pelting. In the stages of budding, blossoming, accessory bud, Follicle, unriped fruit no one pelts stone; only when the fruit ripes in the tree, it gets pelted  and purpose gets served. Similarly, the riped person/ the experienced person is always needed and searched for.  Experience and expertise always count. The moral of the story- " identify the problem, use the right tool and clear the trouble'  Trouble shooting and finding solution always matters,

Dear Sir, The story clearly indicates why people pay more for experience.
While everyone undergoes various experiences in life, only a few are able to really
profit from it. People seldom learn from their own mistakes and improve upon them. Most
of the time people blame it on chance and continue doing it without learning anything.
Anyone can profit from his own experience, if only he were patient, persevering and ready
to learn.

Nice example...sometimes experience may evenfail, like a good batsman's scoring zero, but
once againconfidence and experience puts him back on track.

Experience is difficult to quantifybut it is a matter of perception through the inner
vision -for those who possess and those leveraging it

Richer the experience higher itsoarsabove themonetary value - itis
like asilent trouble shooter.

The price one pays for it -is not the compensation but atoken of respect

Subject: [MTC Global] [Short Story] Experience

A ship engine failed, no one could fix it. Then they brought in a man with 40 yrs. on the
job. He inspected the engine carefully, top to bottom. After looking things over, the guy
reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer.

He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. The engine was fixed
!

7 Days later the owners got his bill for 10000 USD.
'What?!' the owners said 'You hardly did anything. Send us an itemized bill.

The reply simply said Tapping with a hammer - $2 and Knowing where to tap is $9,998
