Title: Senior SW Engineer, Web Apps Front and Middle Tier
Company: Aclara Technologies LLC
Location: Wellesley, MA Must Need Local
Duration: approximately 4 months
Interview Process: Phone and then onsite
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field. In lieu of BS, will accept 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in design and development of high volume professional software, keeping in mind the importance of reuse for large customer bases
• Minimum of 5 years' development experience working with C# and the .NET platform.
• Minimum of 5 years' development experience building web applications including work on the UI and middle tiers.
• Minimum 2 years' development experience building web apps with MVC, Web API.
• Minimum 2 years' development experience with Html5, Javascript, CSS and modern UI frameworks such as Angular, jQuery/jQuery UI, Bootstrap, Knockout, Node.js, Backbone.js.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to do whatever is needed to get the job done.
• Understanding of Source Control, Build, and Deployment Management preferably Team Foundation Server
• Experience with developing performant/scalable/high-availability systems; specifically performance/reliability issues.
• Excellent analytical skills, highly accountable, and enthusiastic.
• Seeks feedback from peers on source code and reviews code for others, all in the constructive spirit of building high quality software.
Preferred:
• 2+ years' experience with relational databases (MS SQL Preferred)
• 2+ years' experience in cloud design and development, preferably Azure.
• Hands-on experience in multiple industries and across several disciplines mastering a variety of operating systems, hardware platforms, distributed platforms, desktops, and mobile devices
• Solid understanding of cloud computing technologies on the Azure platform, including:
o Event Hub / Internet of Things (IOT)
o PaaS vs IaaS.
• Experience with Entity Framework, Linq.
• Experience with Agile Software Development
