System Admin

We have an immediate requirement for a consulting position for an expert Systems Engineer, Physical Security. Submit resumes of candidates who meet the following requirements:

 

Responsibilities

 ·      Work with team of highly technical and talented Client engineers chartered with building, scaling, deploying and maintaining the physical security IT infrastructure

·      Drive scalable, highly available and performant service deployments for core physical security functions such as access control management, video surveillance

·      Partner with production and corporate network teams at Client  in executing large-scale global disaster recovery exercises

·      Partner with network security team on security penetration tests and work on remediation path for identified vulnerabilities

·      Understands metrics for measuring success and performance of services to ensure service performance, scalability, stability and security for both existing and new service deployments

·      Drive priorities and schedules based on impact level and business requirements to drive to the right decisions

·      Foster and maintain cross-functional relationships with both technical and non-technical organizations with a focus on data driven decision-making

·      Communicate timelines, service dependencies, resource constraints and progress with key stakeholders quickly and effectively

 

Requirements

·      8+ years of experience developing in core Windows infrastructure

·      5+ years of scripting experience in PowerShell

·      3+ years of experience in configuration management (Chef, Puppet, SCCM).

·      3+ years of experience with physical security technologies including access control management, IP video surveillance (CCure, Genetec, Lenel, Avigilon, Morpho, Suprema)

·      3+ years of experience in implementing physical security technology across an enterprise network with an understanding of network segmentation, topology, firewalls, failover configuration, IPv6, 802.1x authentication, Isilon storage

·      Experience with avoiding or minimizing business impact despite existing technical challenges
