AS400 Consultant Needed

6+Months

 

Ø  Responsible for production support activities for all types of priority tickets

Ø  Interaction with business users for requirement clarification and resolution of incidents reported

Ø  Responsible for root cause analysis for major incidents

Ø  Coordination with Business Units and Development Teams

Ø  Provide Status reports Mentoring junior members of the team

Ø  Ability to function as a 1st responder to emergency production situations

Ø  Ability to function as Lead and management backup

 

 

Skills

Ø  ILE RPG, COBOL/400, SYNON 2/E, CL/400 Utility: Query 400 and SQL.

Ø  Strong Management and Interpersonal Skills are required

Ø  Risk Identification and mitigation planning

Ø  Good communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills

Ø  Strong knowledge of ITIL, integration across IPC (Incident, Problem & Change Management)

Ø  Strong knowledge of Service Level Management

Ø  Ability to perform hands on work to support the team

Ø  Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
