Job Description:              

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

•Develop test plan, testing resource requirements, and overall scheduling of testing activity.

•Serve as a member of an Agile team that drives user story analysis and elaboration, design and development of test automation scripts employing Java, JUnit, and Selenium.

•Develop automated and manual test strategy, test cases, and test configuration needed to meet the business and system requirements.

•Design, monitor, and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defect counts, test results, test status, and resolution of defects.

•Analyze the highly complex software system and design an automated test strategy to drive 90%+ test automation.

•Monitor application service queue and support automation of test cases resulting from issues.

•Assist with system production rollout with testing and configuration validation.

•Maintain a positive "can-do" attitude and look for opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvement.

Qualifications:

•3+ years of experience in a testing/quality assurance discipline with proven ability in developing strategy, test plan, test automation of business and system requirements, defect management, and release management employing Java, JUnit, and Selenium in a Java/J2EE based enterprise application environment.

•Experience with Agile software development and tools such as Rally and JIRA.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate across third parties, engineers, technical and business product owners.

•Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges, and articulate solutions.

•Ability to think abstractly and analyze ambiguous/partially defined problems to drive solutions. •

Proactively look for continuous improvement opportunities in process and technology.

•Demonstrate ability to acquire new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
