Position: QA Validation Tester

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: 6+ months

Interview: phone then Face to Face

 

Citizenship:  Green Card or US Citizen,  ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO MICHIGAN

 

 

QA – IVH (in-vehicle help)

a.      This QA position is with our infotainment app team (radio apps).  We'd like someone with the following skills/experience…

                                                            i.      Leadership – this role will coordinate across stakeholders and fellow QA team members

                                                            ii.      Test Case/Plan Development – this role will need to be able to recognize/determine appropriate test cases and test plans and manage them in a test case management system

                                                          iii.      Test Case Execution – they will participate in the execution of tests

                                                           iv.      Test Case Management System Experience – this role will be asked to lead the charge on maturing testing practices including the determination and implementation of a test case management system

                                                             v.      Device Validation – this role will be validating apps on infotainment units.  Experience validating apps on infotainment units (radios) is a significant plus.  Validation on other devices like tablets/phones could be sufficient.  What is necessary is that they can comprehend the entire ecosystem required to make the app function (an internet connected device communicating over the cellular network to services hosted in a data center…etc.)

                                                           vi.      Engineering Validation Practices Experience (A PLUS) – if a candidate has experience with common engineering validation practices such as creating DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and system level sequence diagrams, it is a significant plus.

                                                         vii.      Understanding of software systems and various constructs like XML/HTML – if a candidate understands software systems, communication protocols, and XML and has experience leveraging tools to test APIs and edit XML/HTML, it is a plus
