Role: SAP Service Management Specialist – Multiple Positions

Location: Raritan, NJ.

Duration: 6-month contract

Mode of interview: It would be a quick phone call, and then Skype with the Account Executive. After that, they would speak directly with the client and set up an interview.

They need to have experience with Solutions Manager and SAP knowledge, 3 or more years.

 

This is an opportunity to be an integral team member of our Fortune 10 client's Application Service team to help deliver SAP service management activities to the business unit IT departments and other internal business customers.

This role will drive incident resolution with root cause investigations, coordinate execution and communication of all processes related to Platform maintenance including, but not limited to, platform improvements, preventative maintenance, and capacity planning.

Additional Responsibilities:

·         Coordinate service management activities for SAP platforms

·         Drive IT components of governance meetings with the business stakeholders

·         SOW management and day to day operational activities related to platform management

·         Platform metrics management and financial tracking

·         Plan and manage outage windows for IT activities

·         Coordinate problem management for support team

·         Manage help desk environment and team

·         Play role of change champion for solution manager and manage SLA compliance by vendors

·         Drive incident resolution with root cause investigations, coordinate execution and

·         Role will be required to thank broadly about the implications of work plans and how they may impact other areas of the organization

What you will need to be successful:

·         Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of service management experience to include incident and problem management

·         Knowledge of SAP

·         Knowledge of Solution Manager tool (or a similar incident manager platform)

·         Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry

·         ITIL knowledge is preferred
