The Church of God is not a name or a denomination.
The Church of God is in the heart of all, the ecclesia or the "called out ones," all who have believed and confessed that Jesus is Lord.
You are a very important member of the church of God.

Yes you, you are the temple of God for the Lord God himself as the Christ of God lives in you and as you.
1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

You are called upon to worship the Living God is spirit and in truth.
As a member of his body or the church or the ecclesia or the called-out ones.
The ecclesia is now spiritually and in the spirit translated; seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus
Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: {places: or, things}
Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Eph 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
The Church of God is about all who now worship the Living God in spirit and in truth for that time is now when true worshippers, as opposed to false Anti-Christ worshippers, worship God in spirit and in truth.
Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
In Christ or In Spirit and in Truth
Spirituality: a manifestation of Christ as you.
What is a spirit?
Mankind often fails to comprehend the mysteries of a spirit and the spiritual reality not so much because the very concepts of spirit and spirituality cannot be understood but because there are many features of a spirit and the spiritual reality which cannot be fully explained to the time-space finite mind of man.
Furthermore, humankind – flesh - is after the Order of Thomas:
We live in the flesh and hence our mind is more finite than infinite.
We want to see before we believe.
We want to see, to feel, to touch, to hear to talk to the Lord God before we believe that he is and that he is a rewarded of them that seek him.
Our faith, and hence our spirituality, is seriously challenged when we hear that we can only relate to God in the spirit, through the spirit and by our spirit because, he, the Lord God, is a spirit.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Note that it is in spirit first and then in truth.
Because you relate to God first in the spirit.
Ask yourself these questions: Can you see a spirit? Can you touch a spirit? Can you circumscribe a spirit? Can you contain a spirit? Can you fathom a spirit?
Whereas attaining the infinite spirit level is possible in Christ.
Spirituality or operating in the spirit realm is possible unto they who are initiated.
Connectivity and one-ness with the spirit of God through Christ or Christ consciousness and God consciousness are possible.
Divinity in humanity is very possible in Christ and as Christ.
The man stood there looking at this man Moses who would an put the fear of God into Pharaoh. He said to Moses, tell the children of Israel that the I AM THAT I AM has sent thee:
Ex 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
I am that I am?
What do you mean by, "I am that I am?"
Hear the Urantia Book: "The concept of the I AM is a philosophic concession which we make to the time-bound, space-fettered, finite mind of man, to the impossibility of creature comprehension of eternity existences — nonbeginning, nonending realities and relationships. To the time-space creature, all things must have a beginning save only the ONE UNCAUSED — the primeval cause of causes. Therefore do we conceptualize this philosophic value-level as the I AM, at the same time instructing all creatures that the Eternal Son and the Infinite Spirit are coeternal with the I AM; in other words, that there never was a time when the I AM was not the Father of the Son and, with him, of the Spirit."
The Pharisees picked stones the day that the infinite son, who was always with the Father, attempted to prove to them his infinite and eternal nature as a spirit.
