Job Description:
Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers. Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and develops fixes. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3 - 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
Position Comments:
Our application is a robust, end-to-end network test automation framework which utilizes many Open Source libraries such as Apache Wicket, Hibernate, Apache Commons, and many others. This framework allows Engineers to code automated tests as well as a User Interface to execute those tests. Additionally, we provide a mechanism to view details about test execution to include pass / fail items and any attachments.
Responsibilities
· Participate in design and development of network device test automation framework
· Develop software components for multiple layers of application
· Collaborate with others on product requirements, design, and functionality
· Create unit tests as necessary
Requirements
· Intermediate Java Experience
· Object oriented programming and software architecture design patterns
· Web Server Frameworks
· Familiar with Apache Wicket or similar web UI frameworks
· Markup Languages ( CSS / HTML )
· Database Experience
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
