Position: AWS Cloud Application Engineer
Location: Westlake Village, CA
Duration: Long Term
Job Description :
Design, develop, deliver, and work on API based systems with high quality, reusable code for the cloud.
Should be able to write automation tests and automated unit tests.
Be able to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team and able to play various roles.
Investigate and prototype technologies
AWS stack :
Core AWS services, cloud formation, lambda, AWS CodeDeploy, Code Pipeline, Code Commit, Elastic Beanstalk, OpsWorks
ElasticSearch, EasticCache, DynamoDB, Kinesis, API integration on AWS
Backend Technologies:
Server-side programming with one of the following: Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Pythom, Perl, PHP or Ruby developing AWS applications, MVC framework, API
Database systems - Relational and/or NoSQL. Worked on Database schema and indexes, integration and management.
Knowledge of Web Server technologies, Web services and RESTful APIs
Good to have - Node.js.
Frontend:
Client-side web technologies - HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, , jQuery,JavaScript
Good to have - Working experience with a front end template framework like Dust, Mustache, Handlebars
Tools and Others:
DevOps/CI tools like Jenkins, Octopus Deploy,
Test Driven Development and test automation using any tool like Jasmine, Selenium, Cucumber
