Dear All,
Please can someone first give us information as to why they were arrested; what they were doing when they were arrested; where, and so on?
These arrests are opportunities for us to educate the courts about the Southern Cameroons case; to affirm in the most forceful way that our country is a distinct country from La Republique du Cameroun; to castigate Republique for its illegal occupation and colonisation; to tell the world and those present that we shall never cease to demand the withdrawal of the occupying forces of Republique from our territory; that we answer their charges merely because we have no means as of now for freeing our country. It would be a sin to simply try to acquit ourselves without seizing the opportunity to swear to our own country! Every defence of any charge against our people should always begin with the swearing of allegiance to our own country. Nothing short of that would be good in the circumstance. Only when we do that will the enemy realize that it is faced with a people who are determined to be free. To run away cowardly should simply not be our attitude. Our lawyers should step up their attitude when confronted with these cases.
