Job Description :

Role : SAP PP Business Analyst

Location : Aurora, IL

Duration : 4+ Months

GC and Citizen

All candidates must have strong communication / technical skills, excellent client facing skills, be able to interview via skype, phone or in person and be able to pass a technical test to determine the candidates aptitude.

Key points:

. At least 7 years' experience in hands-on configuration within the PP modules of SAP.
. Materials Management (MM) Quality Management (QM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Inventory Management (IM) experience a plus

. Experience in a PP lead role in at least three full-cycle implementations.
. Expertise on configuration in SAP PP, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Master Planning, Repetitive Manufacturing, Capacity Planning, Demand Management, Production Orders, Contract Manufacturing, Integration with MES
. Experience of SAP PP integration with 3rd Party Demand and Master Planning solutions (e.g. Ideally JDA, will look at Manugistics or Oracle)

Key elements of the role
. Gain an understanding of the SAP processes, configuration and enhancement points for the Production Planning (PP) modules across our various divisions.
. Design, develop and deliver enhancements in the form of specific mini-projects and change requests in the SAP Operations area.
. Participate in a PP lead role on implementations and continuous improvement projects, including:
o Definition of SAP Operations scope, based on workshops with business representatives and knowledge of existing core model.
o Definition of SAP Operations blueprint and securing sign-off by relevant process representatives from the business.
o Leading out the SAP PP build activities including configuration, investigation of enhancement points and definition of technical programming specifications etc.
o Defining and supervising SAP Operations testing cycles, and training material preparation.
o Leading Cut-over planning and execution for the Operations area and providing initial high-attention post-live support.
o Hand-over of design to application support team post project.
. Provide SAP expert knowledge in the functional areas of PP and respond to business requirements and to contribute pro-actively to continuous improvement to SAP implementations.
. Some travel to project locations may be required as part of the role.

Requirements for the role:

Qualifications

. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Business or Engineering).
. At least 7 years' experience in hands-on configuration within the PP modules of SAP.
. Materials Management (MM) Quality Management (QM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Inventory Management (IM) experience a plus

Skills & experience
. Experience in a PP lead role in at least three full-cycle implementations.
. Expertise on configuration in SAP PP, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Master Planning, Repetitive Manufacturing, Capacity Planning, Demand Management, Production Orders, Contract Manufacturing, Integration with MES
. Experience of SAP PP integration with 3rd Party Demand and Master Planning solutions (e.g. Manugistics, JDA or Oracle)
. Good understanding of integration points of PP with MM, SD, and FI.
. Strong cross-functional knowledge in Logistics Execution, Materials Management (including Batch Management) and Finance.
. Experience in specifying changes via SAP enhancement points around user exits, custom routines, forms, and interfaces, and ideally in debugging simple ABAP code / routines
