Contract position for VMware SDDC Test Engineer open at New Jersey / New York for the client: Capgemini.
SKILL SUMMARY:
• 8+ years of industry experience QE with at least 4+ years of experience in VMware product deployment QE
• Hands on experience in install/config/set up VMware SDDC products ESXi, vROps, vRealize Automation, NSX, vRealize LogInsight - complete VMware SDDC Stack
Experience in defining test strategies, design test plan and create test cases for VMware SDDC stack
Experience in creating test bed set up, creating test environment as per use cases.
Analyze VMware SDDC product upgrade features and come up with test scenarios for upgrade activities.
Experience in interoperability testing of VMware products during upgrade.
Should analyze Do's and Dont's about impact of upgrade on rest of the products'Analyze functional requirements for the VMware SDDC products and their upgrade path; understand customer environment and use case scenarios
Create the test bed set up and execute test cases for SDDC upgrade roadmap
Design, implement, execute and maintain tests
Participate in bug triage activities; manage bugs, drive the activities for the bug to get a closure
Interact with Development and QE teams, Documentation, Release Engineering, Product
Management to execute and ensure that release goals are met on time and with high quality.
Passion for quality engineering; Solid understanding of QE methodologies and Software Engineering
