We are in need of a strong SSIS database developer for a 6+ mo. contract in San Francisco. Must be local, great communication, hardworking and available to be onsite M-F for the beginning of the project.
Client will be open to some remote after candidate has proven themselves.
Position: SSIS Developer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 6+ mos contract
Qualifications:
- Develop SSIS packages to automate workflow
- Stage policy and claims data
- Perform lookups and transformation
- Configure audit trails
- Assist in data migration projects
- Effectively communicate with teams to define requirements
- Document workflow and field mapping
- Design ETL process and follow appropriate development life cycle
- T-SQL scripting
- Write stored procedures to retrieve data for Tableau reporting and APIs
- Ad hoc query
- Build relational database to house insurance rates/data
- Database source control
- Administer AWS servers (database and web) running Server 2012 R2
- Monitor server/storage volume status from AWS console
- Configure inbound/outbound firewall rules
- Maintain/configure OpenVPN access
- Maintain SQL Server 2012 instance
- Backup and recovery
- Promote databases/scripts across environments
- Design and maintain indexes
- Manage security rules
- Manage SQL Agent jobs
- Develop SSRS packages
Requirements:
- Microsoft SQL developer with special expertise in the area of ETL and using SSIS.
- San Francisco local that can work in the downtown i3 WeWork office.
- Preferably younger in age that brings energy and creativity.
- Skills above and beyond MSQL/SSIS/ETL are a tremendous bonus.
