•          Local candidates are highly preferred. 

•          Interview will include an extensive white board (coding) session - Skype/On-site, need the candidate to be able to write expert level of codes

 

Job Description

JOB DETAILS:

 

PROJECT DETAILS:

•          Currently working on a new booking engine for cruise services. Online team.

·          Supporting the team that works to process lodging requests at Disney – this includes helping room availability/pricing etc. – this person will work to help with suppressing the engine and data and helping with marketing rates

 

·          Joining our team as a middle-tier developer working to build rest web services w/ JSON for consumption by the UI team and also working with end users to make sure they receive the right information

 

·          In addition they will also be working with the database team to manipulate and compile data needed for web development team

 

·          This person needs to have excellent problem solving and communication skills to talk with various teams and make sure they are getting the data that they need and figuring out ways to improve what is being sent/received

 

Technologies Tools:

Must Have:

•          Core Java (client is moving towards Java 8)

•          Generics

•          Restful Web Services - CXF (producing, exposing, and consuming)

•          SOAP Web Services (producing and consuming)

•          Spring Core

•          Messaging tools (JMS, RabbitMQ)

•          Caching – distributed caching

•          Consuming MQ

•          Performance Testing

•          Behavior Driven Development (JBehave/Cucumber, etc.)

•          JUnit

 

Strong Plus:

•          Hibernate

•          Rabbit MQ

•          EHCache

•          Knowledge of Node.js

•          OAuth

•          NoSQL

 

Soft Skills Needed: Interact with other partners. Integration and coordination skills with other teams, good communication. Many touch points, able to comprehend and document.
