DESCRIPTION:
database developer to support cutting edge health care software related database and report development. As part of an agile database team, he/she will work with other .NET development team, business analysts and other team members to support mission critical application development and production troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Fundamental Database knowledge:
* Query, Join, Modeling. Passion for working in database environment.
* Experience working with SQL Server and NoSQL data bases.
* Translate business requirements into a performance optimized data base design.
* Develop SQL scripts for operational, analytical reports, and ETL processes.
* Develop T-SQL scripts for manipulating data. Investigate, troubleshoot and correct data and user related system errors.
* Participate in design sessions and code reviews.
* Basic skills in team work, communication and problem solving.
Required Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred AND; 3-6 years of database development experience with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
* Experience with report development and writing queries.
* Good understanding of Relational database design.
* Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices.
* Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
* Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
* Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
* Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills:
* BI experience, Report Development, other programming experience.
