Oh my friend Prof. Bole Butake,
May your soul rest in peace. It's long we never saw each other because of the exigencies of distance, time, and all in this crazy world. You are one of the greatest that has fought the fight and all that remains for you now is to receive the crown from St Paul and St Thomas Aquinas for your erudition. Go Prof. go...for the Lord knows why he needs you now.

The death has been reported in Yaounde of Prof. Bole Butake of the University of Yaounde 1, Department of Arts and Archaeology. The learned  professor died in the morning of Saturday, October 1, 2016. at CHU, his corpse is at the General Hospital Mortuary, a published announcement of the Department of Arts said.
Prof Bole Butake will forever  be remembered for his long list of essays and drama and as one of the most prolific anglophone literary genius of our time. He literary productions will continue to inspire generations to come
