Bamenda Protests: Locals Pressure Police to Get Mancho BBC' Friend Released
Residents in Bamenda in the North West Region of Cameroon are reported to have pressured the police to secure the release of a friend of Mancho BBC, the gentleman who was among the protesters on the streets of Bamenda with a coffin.
Security forces have reportedly arrested bike riders, dispersing others who were parading Bamenda to 'celebrate' the release of the suspect, November 30 2016.
There are fears violence could degenerate, as locals are spotted travelling to villages and other areas.
