Client is undertaking a Program to upgrade its existing SAP ERP platform (SAP ECC 6.0 on Oracle) to SAP's new platform, S4 version 1610 on HANA. This project will streamline business processes, simplify SAP infrastructure, and is the key program that International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 15) program is dependent on.
The SAP ERP (S/4 HANA) Upgrade Program will use the following phases/projects:
1. Planning
2. Blueprint (detailed design)
3. Realization/Implementation
4. Testing
5. Go-Live
Currently, focused on the Planning Phase which is expected to be completed mid-end of November 2016. The objective of this phase is focused on clearly defining the scope of the project, and setting up for the start of the blueprint project.
Skills and Experience: requires the skills and expertise of a Senior SAP Project Manager to support Program Manager with the following:
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven strong Organization, Planning, Risk Analysis, Controlling, Negotiation, and Communication (verbal/written) skills required.
- Proven experience in managing complex SAP technology projects (migration or conversions)
- Proven experience in managing implementation(s) of the SAP enterprise on premise edition S4/HANA software, with integration to a company's other systems is a definite asset.
- Proven experience in vendor manager
- Proven experience working with multiple vendors and system integrators at the same time.
- Expertise in using MS Project with experience in resourcing loading/leveling, calendaring, etc. Ability to track risks, issues and work towards resolution or escalation is a definite requirement.
- 8 - 10 years experience in a Senior Project Manager role
