We are having opening for Oracle DB2 DBA Consultant with our direct client. Please share qualified profiles for below requirement.
Skill : Oracle and DB2 DBA
Duration : 6 +months
Location : Sacramento, CA
Mandatory Skills: DB2, RMAN, UNIX and shell scripting, Oracle 11gR2
Interview Mode: SKYPE Interview
Job Description:
1. 8+ years of experiencing in Install and maintain database products, including patch application and upgrade of Oracle 11gR2 RAC, Oracle Exadata and DB2.
2. Strong experience in Database Backup and Recovery using RMAN.
3. Experience in Oracle Golden gate.
4. Provide support in database design and application development.
5. Administer and monitor database security.
6. Implementing batch schedules with the appropriate DB2 utilities.
7. Perform structural changes to DB/2 databases as needed.
8. Provide assistance for interfaces which access DB2.
9. Resolving data consistency and indexing issues.
10. Perform maintenance, monitoring and tuning of databases;
11. Troubleshoot, evaluate and implement solutions for production support issues. Ability to solve complex production issues.
12. Performance Tuning at all levels (sub-system, Database, SQL).
13. Mentor other DBA's and designs best practices as it pertains to database administration
14. Proficient with UNIX and shell scripting.
15. Must have expert skills in SQL & Pl/SQL.
16. Knowledge of Emerging Database Technologies
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
