[MTC Global] CRITICAL QUALITY FACTORS IN MANAGEMENT EDUCATION

Empirical study was conducted exploring perception of MBA alumni's regarding CRITICAL QUALITY FACTORS IN MANAGEMENT EDUCATION, since majority of the management institutes are lacking in creating a good human capital to match the corporate needs. (pdf enclosed)
The governing bodies at various management institutes and faculty members must understand that it is very vital to adopt strategies to deliver value:

• Content, Competence and Delivery
• Reliability, Flexibility and Competency Development
• Institute Industry Interface and Career Prospects/ Employability

Description of the Variables

1. Institute arranges for campus placement /short term on the job training/co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
2. Institute has a visually appealing environment, sufficient/modern equipment's and support services like library, computer lab, career counseling etc.
3. Institute have experienced faculty who have theoretical knowledge/practical knowledge/presentation skills and adequate qualification
4. Institute delivers promised service on time
5. Institute has sufficient academic staff and support staff
6. There is academic value addition and employability improves after completion of the course
7. Practical experience, expertise and exposure gained is significant and knowledge/skills learned are applicable to other fields
8. The instructional processes are geared to develop reflective thinking and practice both individually and in groups
9. The learning experiences are followed by feedback, reflection and follow-up
10. Course/syllabus instills entrepreneurial spirit among students
11. Institute facilitates students to work on industrial projects/research
12. Institute has the ability to handle complaints and solve problems of students
13. The institution undertakes curriculum revision on a regular basis
