Hard Skills:
- Responsible for operationally excellent management and implementation of Unix/Linux based security focused systems including but not limited to proxies (reverse and forward), bastions, SSH services, SSO, scripting, etc.
- Experience with open source software is required.
- Strong preference given to automation experience (i.e. Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible...).
- A moderate understanding of encryption technology and networking is preferred.
- Developer experience is preferred. Additional experience with Windows is nice but not required.
Soft Skills:
- Is able to work as part of a team and follow disciplined processes.
- Can effectively balance work across a variety of projects.
- Communicates well in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to serve as a technical lead for project implementation, drive technical site escalations to conclusion and provide a leadership example to junior staff members.
- Is able to perform well under pressure and can troubleshoot on the fly when necessary.
