*Resource should have extensive Retail experience and specifically Oracle Retail Merchandising System (ORMS) experience.

*Must be able to be hired directly with no sponsorship

Oracle Retail (ORMS) Developer

Requirements:

• Work with different business units (Merchandising, Planning, Finance, Supply Chain) to identify business needs, analyze processes, and design system based solutions that meet business needs while streamlining and simplifying processes
• Provide Oracle Retail software product knowledge to assist in maintaining and improving functionality of the Oracle Retail product suite
• Develop requirements, design, process, unit and end-user documentation
• Manage small to medium sized projects
• Define, develop, test, and analyze application enhancements and interfaces
• Investigate, analyze and document reported operational problems and provide solutions to business users
• Provide business analysis and technical expertise necessary to support the daily operations of Oracle Applications and existing customizations
• Assist in logging, reporting, and resolving application issues
• Assist in maintaining overall system schedule including online and batch operations
• Provide production support on an on-call basis.
• Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel
• Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

 

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and experience in Oracle Forms
• Strong knowledge and experience  Oracle Pro*C
• Strong knowledge and experience  Oracle PLSQL
• Strong knowledge and experience with Java
• Good knowledge and experience in UNIX (Particularly PL-SQL Pro*C and UNIX)
• BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
• 4+ years of core development experience in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (ORMS)
• Knowledge in Oracle Retail Merchandising Version 13.2
• Knowledge in other Oracle Retail Products is an added advantage
