Responsibilities
Follows the DPH ACIO's analyst processes based upon the PMI's competence of standards.
Consults with each Program's Business to identify, define and document business needs and objectives for Program's IT projects.
Work with the Businesses in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems.
Participants in vendor-led JAD sessions, elicits and documents detailed requirements for applications.
Creates the standard documentation required by the EOHHS PMO for IT projects.
Attends meetings with teams such as IT Architecture, Release Management, etc. to help represent the needs of the business.
Identifies opportunities for improving and streamlining IT processes as well as eliminating security risks (compliance).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Management or equivalent work experience
+3 years of experience in business analysis and requirements gathering
Demonstrated ability to gather and document requirements and create use cases.
Experience working in a PMO environment
Project Portfolio Management experience
Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies
