Project Manager/PMO with SSIS reporting experience and Project Server and PWA experience
With several changes to the IT PMO's project proposal, scoring and prioritization process, and a need to update other project/portfolio management activities, this AFE requests funding for the contracting of professional services to help the PMO with enhancing how Microsoft Project Server (MSP) and Project Web Application (PWA) are used by the PMO, project managers and IT management to maintain and report on the IT Portfolio.
This includes areas such as:
• IT Project Proposals, Scoring and Prioritization: review and help PMO to change the Project Proposal questionnaire form, Business Case data and calculations, and create any additional questions or scores in Microsoft Project Web Application (PWA).
• Time Reporting: add new fields and make adjustments to better position timesheets for accurate reporting at the application module level. This is needed as a foundation to support all future 'Total Cost of Ownership' (TCO) efforts.
• PWA Project Details Pages (PDP): revisit security permissions for making PDP's visible or not, and updating PDPs, and updates to some of the content.
• Project Professional Schedules: review of our practices and assistance with issues we have encountered with managing and syncing project schedules with Microsoft Project Server (MSP).
• Reporting: update reports or create new ones e.g. request to print one/multiple/all proposed project questionnaires.
• Custom Fields: integration of custom fields from project plans into reports.
• Security Permissions: review and reconfigure as needed the PWA/MSP security permission categories and groups, to enable others to browse project/portfolio information more easily.
• Budget/Forecasts: provide project budget/actual/forecast data in csv file format for IT Finance in order to eliminate manual entry and the potential of quarterly Board forecast errors.
