Job Description
Project: What these people are doing are going into the data marts within the data warehouse, pulling the data using ETL/ SQL, and using SSIS to integrate the data into Salesforce. This is all done in a Visual Studio environment which is why he wants someone with Visual Studio experience. Visual Studio is just a set of tools for creating software, from the planning phase through UI design, coding, testing, debugging, analyzing code quality and performance, deploying to customers, and gathering telemetry on usage.
Requirements
· Collaborate with Product Leads and BI Analysts to understand business requirements
· Collaborate with data source experts to establish data sources
· Develop logical and physical data models and maintain Entity Relationship Diagrams and related documentation
· Conduct data profiling to ensure data quality and data integrity is maintained at all times
· Develop and support self-monitoring, robust, scalable data pipelines
· Provision data structures such as fact and dimension tables and other objects as needed
· Develop on going incremental updates to the data mart(s)
· Manage database supporting elements including schemas, tables, views,
Qualifications/Skills
· MIS/CIS/CS Degree or 5-8 years relevant experience
· 3+ years Data Engineering
· Experience modeling Star Schemas structures using Ralph Kimball methodology
· Experience developing robust and scalable data integration data pipelines
· Experience using SSIS or similar ETL platform
· Familiarity with Javascript API, Rest API and Data Extract API
· Experience writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.
· Familiarity of Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as S3
· Working knowledge of Snowflake highly desirable
· Familiarity with Salesforce data structures highly desirable
